2000-GPM can find 'bigguns' too! was created by Pennyweight
Just to prove that the GPM mod can find the big ones, I'll try to post a photo of a 3.6oz piece I've found recently. It was found at 12" depth in hot ironstone gravel using only a 10" Joey DD! I had the unit on setting 4 and found the signal (broad but obvious) but decided to check it again on setting 1....the signal was louder and more defined. The signal would have been a boomer with a bigger coil no doubt!
The GPM has definitely got the depth angle covered!!! Used the mod for only 50+ hours, got 6.25oz, all in bashed ground, including the 3.6oz lump. Heaps of little ones....05gm-.5gm and easy to hear. Having trouble posting the pics so I'll get Izzy to do it instead!! Cheers, Pennyweight Smasher
