The GD1000 hasn't had too many reports but a mate of mine who bought one has lent it out to others to try and even rented it to some Germans on holidays. They were impressed enough to want to buy it to take back to Germany. Unfortunately AuQuest have not been able to supply. There are also a few rumours around....

These rumours seem to involve the infringements of patents, copyrights and intellectual property theft. No one seems to be able to get hold of Gerald at AuQuest to verify anything for certain. My mate as I said has lent the GD1000 to some professionals who are currently testing it in the field and will do comparisons. Once I have these I will post the results. It seems a pity if there are problems involving any legal matters with the GD1000 as it seemed to have possibilities as a potentially good detector. We will just have to wait and see what happens.
