The price is actually AUD$250 for Australian Buyers. Overseas price is US$205 which equates to around AUD$280. (This includes freight) Now depending where you are (Overseas or not) it comes with or without battery. Easier like this:

Standard System is :

Variable Voltage Regulator (6.9V-8.5V) with Integrated Audio Enhancer. Battery connection Box for connection to Battery and Charger. This will charge the battery via the standard Minelabs 6V Charger.

In Australia the Battery is included Overseas have to supply your own batteries (due to freight restrictions on sending batteries).

If you register you can get the manual for it under downloads. If you look at the online shop you can see the prices and also buy online via credit card (PayPal, Paymate) or Direct Deposit.

I had this problem with the Donate button and thought I'd fixed it.
